Detox Cleanse

Why is it important to cleanse and detox your body?

The detoxification process may sound like a long scary process, but it’s actually one of the best things you can do for your body. One of the greatest threats to our health Is the continued presence and buildup of toxins in the body.  Toxins are found in very common places, the food that we eat in the air we breathe. They can also be found on a number of sources including alcohol, prescription drugs, sugar, caffeine, chemicals and hormones. Therefore major organs can easily become repositories for toxins, and as these toxin accumulate they can have a negative effect on the functions of the organs. Although detoxing and cleansing should be a priority in all of our lives, it's not usually the case.

What benefits will I get from this detox?

Our detoxification targets all mayor toxin depositories in the body, including the digestive system, the circulatory system and the urinary system.

The Circulatory System: has two roles, one is to provide all parts of the body oxygen and nutrients but, at the same time it also picks up waste materials and toxins that need to be eliminated as well. This monumental task is achieved by a network of approximately 60,000 miles of blood vessels and an organ the size of a fist, the heart that pumps about 2,000 gallons of blood every day.

With time and poor nutrition, the intake of waste material and toxins can cluster and weaken the circulatory system leading to the development of diseases and conditions. Each year approximately 25% of all deaths in the United States reoccur due to heart attacks, and most of these can be attributed to the hardening of the artery. In addition to the heart attack, a poor circulatory system can cause stroke, kidney disease, varicose veins, blood clots, and a variety of other problems that can cause death.

The Digestive System:
is the way in which the body transforms food into the energy that it needs to build, repair, and feed on. On average an adult body can processes approximately 2 -1/2 gallons of digested food, liquids and digestive secretions every day. Once swallowed the food travels through the throat or pharynx into the esophagus. Both the pharynx and the esophagus are muscular tubes, working through a series of contractions for food to advance and with time deposit in the stomach.

Then the stomach then shakes it until it becomes a paste called chyme, which is easier to digest. The next station is the sphincter pyloric, which serves as the gateway to the small intestine. The digestion of starches, proteins and fats occur in the small intestine with the help of secretions that originate in the pancreas, liver, and intestinal villus. Although the digestive system breaks down and absorbs all the nutrients the body needs it also absorbs waste materials and toxins before it can neutralized it. This can also cluster the digestive system and lead to other illnesses.

Urinary System: consists of two kidneys, each of which has a ureter that connects to the bladder. The bladder is connected with the Urethra (longer in men and shorter in women) and the Urethra eventually leads to an opening outside the body. The function of the urinary system is to produce and eliminate a waste product called urine, and regulate the quantity, alkalinity or acidity and consistency of the fluids in the body. The kidneys filter the blood.

Every minute a quarter of blood from the body enters the kidneys, which comprise approximately 2 million filters microscopic called nephrons. Nephrons are responsible for absorbing nutrients and eliminate toxins and other waste from the blood. The kidneys have the responsibility to keep the blood clean. They work every minute of the day by filtering out impurities. However, like any structure they have limitations. Once the urinary system becomes clustered with toxins and waist product it will deteriorate its performance which can lead to other illness as well. The cleansing and detoxing of these three mayor system is crucial, it will determine your health for years to come.
